Designed with a new set of graphics suited for the smaller screen and functionality of the Apple Watch, the new app, now available in the App Store, provides users with current conditions, precise forecasts and weather alerts directly on the Watch screen.

When a user opens The Weather Channel app on Apple Watch, they can view current weather conditions wherever they are, hourly forecasts with graphical representations of temperature and precipitation, and weekend forecasts. Additional Watch features include:
- Weather at a Glance: With the Glances feature, users can view current weather conditions on the Watch screen so no matter if it’s raining, snowing or sunny, they are always prepared when they go outside.
- Real-Time Notifications: Users can set up fully customizable real-time notifications for rain, snow, lightning and severe weather that can be pushed to the Watch, smartphone or both based on personal preferences.
- Live Radar: The in-app screen shows a live view of the radar based on the user’s current GPS position.
- Report the Weather: When a user receives a rain or lightning notification, they are given the option to report conditions near them through the social integration feature.
